Nexuiz
Nexuiz is a first-person shooter game. The gameplay is deathmatch, with the most excessive possible speeds and weapons, giving incredibly intense fast-paced action. Other game modes include team deathmatch, capture the flag, domination, and many mutators and weapon options like rocket arena and instagib. You can fight through the single-player campaign, going through more than 20 levels, or play online.

I think Nexuiz is a really well polished game! Although yes, its art department is a bit outdated. The control over your player is really something else and you notice quite soon that after learning the basics that there is a depth of moves, weapon handling, weapon combos, timings and map knowledge! I found Nexuiz last christmas and play as soon "AFK" allows me to blow of some steam or just have loads of FUN and I still learn new stuff every week! :3
They also have a small but great competitive community
