WinSCP (Windows Secure CoPy) is a SFTP and FTP client for Windows. Its main function is secure file transfer between a local and a remote computer. Beyond this, WinSCP offers basic file manager functionality. For secure transfers, it uses Secure Shell (SSH) and supports the SCP protocol in addition to SFTP.
FileZilla is a cross-platform client that supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS), and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). It allows you to transfer large files - larger than 4GB - and features filename filters and remote file editing.
Ziproxy is forwarding, non-caching, compressing HTTP proxy server. Basically it squeezes images by converting them to lower quality JPEGs or JPEG 2000 and compresses (gzip) HTML and other text-like data.
